Most competitors only offer a fraction of the retail rate, typically between 30-70%. Our program maximizes your solar investment by giving you the full value of every kilowatt-hour your system produces.
No, you don't need to change any equipment. If you already have solar panels and a bi-directional meter installed, you're all set. Our program works with your existing setup. We simply become your retail electricity provider and ensure you receive the maximum credit for your excess generation.
You'll start seeing savings on your very first bill after enrollment. The enrollment process typically takes 1-3 business days, and the switch to Ambit VIP Energy Service can be completed within 7-10 days. Once your service begins, your buyback credits will be applied to every bill automatically.
There is no limit to the amount of excess energy you can sell back to the grid with our program. However, credits can only offset energy charges on your bill and cannot exceed your total bill amount. Any additional credits will roll over to future bills, ensuring you get the full benefit of your solar production year-round.
